I view teaching as collaboration, the act of transferring knowledge being a dialogue, to sustain a balanced communication as to what is relevant in both public and private spaces. The challenge is often process-bound in some way, the interaction of ideas.
One of the more remarkable things about leading a creative-based life is to be able to connect intuitive leaps with disparate experiences. The teacher-student relationship is significant in the idea of broadcasting knowledge with an aesthetic response which can travel in both directions leading to a dialogue that is always fresh, always appealing.
